Your First Visit to Pathway

Everything you need to know to walk in confident and prepared. No surprises, no anxiety.

1

Wear comfortable athletic clothing. We train barefoot. Bring a water bottle. Remove jewelry. Bring a hair tie if needed. We supply everything else.

If you have any injuries or medical conditions, let us know when you arrive. Your instructor will adjust the class accordingly.

2

A team member will greet you, show you where to put your things, introduce your instructor, and walk you through the class. You will not be left standing in a lobby wondering what to do.

Arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can handle paperwork and give you a quick tour of the facility.

3

Your instructor knows you are new. The class is appropriate for your level. Your partner knows how to train safely with beginners. If you need a break, take one. No judgment.

You will learn basic movements, positions, and at least one technique you can remember and practice. No sparring on your first day unless you specifically want to.

4

Your instructor checks in. We answer questions. No pressure to sign up on the spot. Go home, think about it, and come back because you want to.

Most people are tired, a little overwhelmed, and surprised by how much they enjoyed it. That is completely normal. The second class is always easier than the first.
