Terms of Service

Terms and conditions for using Pathway Martial Arts services.

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account with Pathway Martial Arts ("Pathway," "we," "us," "our") or using our mobile app, web application, or website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Account Registration and Eligibility

Age Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create a Pathway account.
  • Members aged 13 to 17 may use the platform with a linked parent or guardian account and verifiable parental consent.
  • Children under 13 may only participate through a parent/guardian-managed youth profile.

Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Membership and Billing

Membership terms, pricing, and billing schedules are as described on our pricing page and in your membership agreement. Payments are processed through Stripe. You authorize recurring charges according to your selected plan.

Cancellation

Cancellation terms are defined in your membership agreement. Generally, memberships require 30 days written notice. Founding Fifty members have a 6-month initial commitment at charter rates, then month-to-month.

4. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver

Martial arts training involves inherent physical risks including but not limited to muscle strains, joint injuries, bruises, and in rare cases more serious injury. By participating in any Pathway class or activity, you acknowledge these risks and assume responsibility for your own safety.

All members and visitors must sign a liability waiver before participating in any physical activity at our facility.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Treat all members, staff, and visitors with respect and dignity.
  • Follow instructor guidance during all classes and training activities.
  • Maintain personal hygiene standards appropriate for close-contact training.
  • Report any safety concerns to staff immediately.
  • No aggressive, threatening, or unsportsmanlike behavior.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Pathway's platforms (website, app, marketing materials) is owned by Pathway Martial Arts LLC and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
